Sofia and the big coastal resorts offer the widest selection Western-style attractions and leisure activities. Leisure centres in Bulgaria are still few. Only water parks at the biggest Black Sea resorts of Golden Sands and Sunny Beach have been fully developed. Entrance fees are high for Bulgarian standards and foreign. Various bowling alleys are available in most towns. Other options include gyms, extreme sports clubs, swimming pools (see Sports). |
